Parlay Compact

Parlay Compact is the small and effi cient ISDN Basic Rate Access (2 channels) least cost router/service access controller from Partner Voxtream. Small dimensions and the carefully designed housing makes it ideal for residential and SoHo use, and for direct shipment to endusers. Plug-and-play installation is easily carried out by users.

Parlay Compact is powered from the ISDN line. It even operates in restricted mode. The relay bridging function ensures use of the .emergency phone in case of power down.

With Parlay Compact, operators and service providers are able to

• route outbound calls through their network
• provide their customers with sophisticated value added features
• attract new customer segments
• route outbound calls through their network

Customers cut their phone costs and make use of the value added services without having to change their calling be- haviour.

Parlay Compact is easily plugged in between the customers terminal equipment and the Network Terminal (NT) of the ISDN line provider. Parlay Compact can be connected to any Euro ISDN Basic Rate Access connection.

Parlay Compact’s advanced and remotely managed routing table determines how calls are routed, based on call destination, type of service (data/voice), day of week and time of day etc.

• Call-by-call carrier selection
• Carrier preselection with override option
• Freephone Number

Parlay Compact supports all ISDN services. Programming is typically carried out remotely from a maintenance centre.
